Everything you need to know

We believe in transparent, person-centred support that meets you wherever you are. If you have a question that is not covered below, please get in touch.

What should I expect during our first session?

Our initial session is a warm, unhurried space to get to know each other. We will explore what has brought you to therapy or coaching, discuss your personal goals, and talk through how we can work together safely and comfortably. There is no pressure to share anything before you feel ready.

What does an integrative, multi-framework approach mean?

Rather than using a rigid one-size-fits-all model, an integrative approach blends various evidence-based modalities to suit your unique needs. We draw from humanistic and person-centred counselling, cognitive reframing, life coaching, neuro-linguistic programming (NLP), and clinical hypnosis. Learn more about our modalities on the Therapeutic Approach page.

How is your practice neurodiverse friendly?

We actively embrace neurodivergence, including ADHD, autism, and sensory processing differences. Sessions are shaped around your communication style, executive functioning needs, and comfort levels. Grounded in authentic lived experience, we provide a genuinely validating space free from masking or judgment.

What is the difference between counselling and coaching?

Counselling often focuses on exploring deeper emotional wounds, processing past experiences, and addressing challenging patterns or distress. Coaching tends to be forward-looking and goal-oriented, supporting personal growth, mindset transformation, and self-belief. Because we work integratively, we can seamlessly adapt between both.

Where do sessions take place?

We offer face-to-face appointments across South Lanarkshire and Greater Glasgow, as well as secure online video consultations for clients throughout Scotland and the UK. Remote sessions offer identical clinical care from the comfort of your own home.

How many sessions will I need?

The number of sessions depends on your individual circumstances and goals. Some clients benefit from short-term, focused coaching of 6 to 8 sessions, while others choose open-ended counselling for deeper transformational work. We regularly review progress together so you remain in full control.

How much do sessions cost and how do I book?

Session fees, block booking options, and our introductory consultation details are clearly outlined on our Fees & Booking page. You can easily schedule your initial appointment directly online or contact us to discuss available times.

Is our work together confidential?

Yes, all sessions are strictly confidential in accordance with professional ethical codes of practice. Any standard legal or safeguarding exceptions will be discussed thoroughly and transparently with you during our first appointment.
